Ms. Axani serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the firm Garrington Group Inc. and is a principal of the firm. She provides underwriting oversight to Garrington and is responsible for the overall underwriting and due diligence strategy within the group. She and her team are responsible for all aspects of underwriting across all lending verticals in the organization. Ms. Axani is a member of all of the firm's Investment Committees. Ms. Axani has more than 25 years of experience in commercial finance, factoring, asset-based lending, equipment finance, lender finance and specialty finance; focusing on specialty lending. Ms. Axani has developed strategic pathways to becoming a top lender to other lenders in the industry. She has held positions as Chief Accountant, Senior Account Manager, Assistant Vice President, and Chief Underwriter on behalf of a large Canadian institution specializing in these areas.
