At Garrington, we’re building North America’s premier alternative lending platform — and we’re looking for sharp, driven people who want to be part of it.
With over 20 years of experience and more than USD $5 billion deployed, our team provides creative working capital solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across North America. We operate with a flat organisational structure where decision-makers are always accessible, ideas move fast, and every team member has a meaningful impact on the businesses we support.
Whether your expertise is in underwriting, portfolio management, operations, or investor relations, you’ll work alongside seasoned professionals in an environment that values diligence, entrepreneurial thinking, and a genuine sense of urgency for our clients. We don’t just fund businesses — we partner with them through every stage of the lending relationship.
If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and want to help shape the future of private credit, we’d like to hear from you.
Current Opportunities
VP, Institutional Sales
Garrington Private Credit is a North American private credit fund focused on originating and managing senior secured, asset-backed loans to lower middle-market businesses, including small- and medium-sized operating companies and lender finance platforms across North America.
The Garrington Private Credit Strategy (the “Garrington Strategy”) was launched in May 2015 and has a proven track record of managing third-party investor capital for over ten years. The firm partners with family offices, RIAs, private banks, and select institutional allocators across both onshore and offshore markets.
Garrington Capital, the firm’s lending business, is headquartered in Toronto, has been operating since 1999 and is now one of Canada’s largest non-bank private lenders. Over the past 25 years, we have provided more than $6 billion in financing.
The Opportunity
This is a ground-floor opportunity to build Garrington’s U.S. institutional franchise. With a 25-year North American lending engine behind you and the launch of the firm’s U.S. domestic feeder product underway, you will own the U.S. capital-raising effort rather than inherit a mature, fully covered territory. The product is differentiated — senior secured, asset-backed credit that is built to perform through the cycle — and the white space in the U.S. allocator market is substantial. For a producer with a portable book, this is a chance to shape the platform, not just sell it.
